At first glance, UNDAUNTED is a portrait of a majestic Great White Heron perched securely on high, standing poised against a backdrop of fragmented light through a deep woodland scene…a study in symbolic grace.

The Heron often appears as a symbol of blessing... of mystery, wisdom, and calm. But the title UNDAUNTED conveys an even deeper and layered meaning. Its stillness captures the active discipline of waiting…not as one of passivity, but as a portrait of confident trust in the wait.

Its elevated, centered stance remains unshaken, making the title even more resonant because the artist completed the work while recovering from a broken foot and wrist.
